Hi Tracy, Well, I guess I could say have had success with the patch, it got me off the cigarettes, so that's success right? Only problem is is, I'm still on it. *But*, it's not really a problem as far as I'm concerned. Not yet anyway. Been smoke free for over 4 months now. Other people here have quit by using the patch too, or gum, or cold turkey, Wellbutrin/Zyban or whatever. As long as we quit is all that matters, and we just need to find what works *for us*. My DH quit with nic gum, 11 months now, after 38 years of smoking. Read through the archives here, you will see that lots of different methods are used.

I gave up using the patch - for 7 weeks .... apart from getting very itchy (I think I got an allergic reaction) it helped a lot.
