My grandson 15 has chronic lyme disease w/fibro & arthritis. His shoulders pop out of sockets real easy so do his wrists. He moves around to get them back in, it's weird. Hear alot of popping sounds. Anyone ever heard of this?

For the last month my thumb has been popping out. I have to been it a few times and then it is ok. Mostly happen during the night. I thinking it is because of the arthritis.

It is common for people with arthritis to have some joints that pop out of their proper place because when you have a lot of swelling, the bones can sometimes float of out alignment. Sometimes seeing a Chiropractor on a regular basis can help keep bones in alignment.

Good luck to your son! I hope he feels better soon.

Well here we go the dr is sending him to see if it's EDS Enlos Danlos syndrome (not sure if spelled right) As I sd he has chronic lyme disease & arthritis is one of the symptoms but the dr's say they never saw anybody with joints popping out. I have a feeling we will go on a wild goose chase!
