View Full Version : Relation between PND and ear popping

I have heavy PND and at certain days, about once in 10 days I get terrible "ear popping". It last all day, doesn't hurt but is annoying. Is there a relation between both.
Also, recently I tried very primatively to do a nasal wash, just tried to flush water in one nostril and let it go out in the other.
1) Is this supposed to hurt because my nasopharynx hurt like hell for a few seconds.
2) About 15 minutes after I did this I spit out an enourmous plug of sticky white/yellow mucus. Is this the kind of result I should get?

My ears are plugged right now. I get that from blowing my nose in the morning. I also have been experimenting with washes. I use the saline solution from the drug store and a nasal sinus wash, with healthy herbs in it, from the health food store. I notice that I spit up white and some yellow phlem. I guess this is normal.
What I wonder is will it ever be over with?
How long have you had your Post Nasal drip?
This is the after math of a virus for me....and allergies.....
I believe.

p.s. how are you getting the water up your nose? I don't understand.

Yep, your ears, nose, and throat are connected by a tube called the Eustachian Tube. If one part is infected or swollen enough, it can spread.
