Wittesea -

Do you have any info on medical research which has shown which vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidents, and which foods are good for fibro or cmp?

I have been told the B vitamins for nerves, energy, and stress,
Magnesium for good sleep and even shots if needed to help muscle spasms
and Calcium

These three were mentioned to me as the "most important".

Any thoughts?

Magnesium, Malic Acid, and basically a good regiment of multivitamins and minerals are good. I have been told over and over to change my diet to elimate a lot of the "white stuff" but I have to have some sort of enjoyment! LOL Also, close attention to your fiber intake is especially important for Fibro due to the fact that most of us have IBS or are constipated from all the meds. Search the web for some more in depth info regarding vitamins, amino acids and herbs for Fibro. They won't cure, and some won't work for you. I take a lot of the vitamins and minerals that are suggested for Fibro. Dont' know especially if they work or not, as I haven't really stopped taking them. Always ask your doc if what you are taking OTC will have a reaction to your prescription. My advice is to take your bottle(s) to your doc and show him/her exactly what you are taking. K?
Hope it helps a little.
