What lipsticks shades are your favorites? Mine are Clinique in chocolate bronze, amberglass, Maybelline wet shine diamonds in honeymoon heather, sparklin sands. Loreal color riche in mystic mauve, bronze coin. Hope to hear from you.

My favorite is MAC Lustre Pretty Please. This is quite pinkish, but it looks glorious when you use it together with a darker lip pencial. Loreal mystic mauve is great also.

LOL MY GOODNESS BEB - do you work for a cosmetic company or do you just like lipstick? LOL
I like pink chocolate (Clinique) and I can't remember the other names of some of the others (Maybelline - it's like a pink frost).
I'm somewhat italian looking or have a slight olive complexion - brown hair/eyes with some bronze highlights - letting those grow out and not sure what I want to do with it now.
My problem now is my dry chapped lips so I'm wondering if I'm gonna have to do the A&D ointment at night AND DAY because they're not totally healed and I want smooth lips.
Any suggestions ladies?

LOL You're too funny. LOL Where do u live? I think a lot of it depends on what you look like (features).
I just bought some wet diamonds and Loreal lipstick. I love covergirl outlast though - stays on all day. Not easy changing it the same day though. LOL
Someone suggested A&D ointment for dry lips so I'm gonna try that - it does say on there that it's for chapped lips as well but I was crackin up because it's normally for diaper rash or dry skin on babies. LOL

I assume you're talking to me? LOL. I'm in Cincinnati.

Umm, I wouldn't use A&D, but that's just me. Personally, I would gently exfoliate with a little baking soda, and apply some almond, jojoba, or olive oil.

I usually wear Aromaleigh lip gloss in Charm, but yesterday I just bought Almay WhippedGloss in Raisin Glow, and I just love it. It is not sticky and it stays on very well. :jester:

I love LIPSTICKS too and have too many to name..Good to hear there are many of us out there. I have not found a favorite and when I do they stop making it so I'm always trying new ones...When I'm trying for a new color I tend to buy wet and wild since it's cheap (.99cents) before spending more money on the expensive brands.
Sometimes I look at my lipstick drawer and ask myself WHAT WAS I THINKING when
choosing colors...I have some pretty wild ones that do nothing for my looks...

You guys are into the oils. LOL Well the A&D ointment works well because they're already 10 times better than what they were and it does say on the box - for chapped lips.......... ;)
I'm orig from PA but now livin in Charlotte, NC. I must say that I don't miss the cold but do miss the people. :)

Speaking of lipsticks....I have looked high and low for a good lipstick that looks nearly nude. Seems it is the kind many of the stars are wearing and it looks so natural, and also tends to make thinner lips fuller, but it is definitely not a gloss type.
Also when I but what I think looks good in the store seems to be darker once applied. I sure wish I could get samples of the drugstore variety, because the good ones are at least 9-10 dollars around here, not a bad price unless you can't wear the stuff.
Any ideas? Also what are the brand and color names that sound like this?

I just got a multi-purpose pencil at Meijer that is by NYPM (I think that stands for New York Professional Makeup), in color #809. It is by far the most natural looking nude color I have ever used - and it was only $1.22! It's slightly creamier than the usual lipliner, so you could definitely wear it alone or with lipstick/gloss.
I also have another nude lipcolor that is awesome - but it is a gloss. It's Bobbi Brown Shimmering Tube Tint in Dusk. Awesome color, stays on well, very much YLBB - and there isn't any shimmer in it, despite the name. :)

:bouncing: Donna, try Clinique "Creamy Nude" lipstick & use either a little foundation or lip primer under it...it has that beautiful pale nude color that you're talking about. (you can get Clinique at most dept. stores or from their website)

I've tried so many lipsticks throughout the years...but here are my favorites:
Clinique-Creamy Nude (sort of a pale nude/peach color)
MAC-Snob (a light, bright pink color) very satiny finish (but not glossy)
MAC-Brave (a beautiful mauve pink color) very satiny finish (but not glossy)
Revlon Colorstay (Nude) has color similar to the Clinique Creamy Nude but lasts all day.
Revlon Colorstay LipLiner in Nude
