Hi guys, ok when I get the dizzy in the head feeling which can be made worse by walking or focussing at the dinner table for example, it reaches a point where I get woozy and my head feels as if it is about to roll off. Now this is not a lightheaded feeling as such, far worse, it is just like my head has no real support. If I move my head forwards and backwards, it feels v v v odd, like it will simply fall off. Anyone get this?

Hi Em, yep I have had times of feeling like my head was not going to stay on anymore. Don't know if its the same thing or not. It felt like my neck just was not able to hold the head anymore. Have no clue as to why. But it did leave. Hang in there. Belle

hi emsy
yes i can relate, for some reason this has become sightly more prominent lately, my husband has just had a real bad head cold though i have not caught it , i feel more dizzier again like the cold is almost there but i dont have the running nose and cough, last night i was getting a short spin when i turned my head to look in another direction and this made me feel like my head just wanted to flop off , and my eyes feel swollen though they dont look it, and feel like they move slower when i look around, just weird.
hope today is better

Hi Emsy,
I think you replied to me on the other board. I havnt posted here before but I saw your post and can certainly relate.
I have some neck issues and although nothing has been proved I am convinced my dizziness stems from my neck. I always have the heavy head feeling, like my head is a bowling ball balanced on a pin and eating at a table or looking down makes me very off balance. I am always moving around because if I focus or am still for long I feel like I am falling and my head feels weird. Do you have any neck pain or aches or anything? My physio said she thought it was the SCM muscles in the front of my neck. Its an awful feeling, I hope it gets better soon,

Hi Christine. Yes I do have neck/tension headaches which are majorly reduced by osteopathy. But my dizziness does not stem from this. I have inner ear damage. Glad im not alone with these weird feelings! xxx

Hello all, I am looking for info. on fluid in the inner ear. My daughter has the exact feeling that was described by 'embsybobs'. Last night we went to the ER because she kept falling and they said she had fluid in the ear. They gave her an antihistamine for the dizziness and said it will go away on it's own. Any feed back?
