Hey guys and gals! Hope that everyone is doing well. As I posted earlier, my quit date is March 1st and I'm already pumped and getting ready. I have a dr's. appt. this Thurs. to discuss taking Wellbutrin/Zyban. However, I am presently taking Paxcil (for an old panic disorder) and am wondering if I can take both Paxcil and Wellbutrin/Zyban at the same time? Can they be combined like this? Maybe I should post this same message on the "Depression Board" as it might be more applicable over at that board. But if anyone here knows the answer here, I would love to heard it.
Thanks so much,
Dave

Gee Dave I don't know about that, combining 2 antidepressants. I'm sure your doc will be able to advise you on that one. Yes, try the depression boards, I bet someone over there would know the answer to that.
We'll be looking for you come March 1st, altho you'll probably be around before that. Sounds like you are seriously getting yourself ready too...good for you! :)

Deda,
As serious as a heart attack. (I've got to be that way or it will not come to fruitition.) Yes, I'll be coming back here on March 1st to make my first post as a "non-tobacco" user and will make multiple posts under this thread as time goes on. (Kind of like GeneCanuck did.) I thought that was pretty slick. Can't wait!
Thanks,
Dave

That sounds like a great plan David. Yeah, that was slick what Genecanuck did. Sure wish he would come back, he added a lot to this group I think.
Anyway, I'm glad you're as serious as a heart attack David. It will be nice to see you around here!

You might already know this, but there is also a "drug interactions" board here at healthboards. Just thought I'd let you know.

Yes Dave - better to be serious as a heart attack than to have one right? :)
I'm sure the other boards would offer advice, but honestly Dave - when it comes to people's history, etc... I wouldn't do it unless your doc says to because you just never know - everyone's health history is different and just because it may be ok for someone else to take it doesn't mean it'll work for you. I wouldn't think it would be a good idea but I have no clue. LOL I'm not a doctor - was supposed to be or when I was 10 yrs. old I told my parents I was going to be one, but nope - just an accountant now. LOL
March 1st - can't wait for you to join us Dave. You'll be amazed at all of the healthy changes that'll happen to your body. Welcome them instead of being afraid of them. :)
