I've been experiencing dizziness lately. Sometimes, whenI get up off the couch, or any sudden movements... Sometimes, it's just dizziness, sometimes everything goes black and then funny colours, as I start to get back to normal. It's kind of weird, kinda scary.

Does anybody have any idea what this might be??

thanks

I have kind of the same problem..only it's when i'm hungry. When I go more than about 5 hours without food, I get really dizzy, nauseaous, sweaty, weak, out of breath..very very sick..a mom with a child that has asthma told me on another board that it is due to not keeping something in the stomach at all times, their doctor told them that asthma medications are hard on the stomach and to eat 5-6 smaller meals as opposed to 3 big meals a day.
are you taking a lot of rescue inhalers lately??
that can also cause dizziness

I would say it's the resue inhalers then, cause I've definitly been taking a lot. Maybe I can try to slack back... I'll see. Maybe I'll just be dizzy until my next appoint with the doc.

thanks!

The dizziness can be a drop in your blood pressure. Do you ever stand up and go black and funny colors? This is because you had a momentary drop in your blood pressure and then it raised again. I would ask your doctor about it. What meds are you on?

oh..... well then i'd say it's the blood pressure, because i do go black, funny colours, and get this weird felling go through my body. then i need to kind of shake or yawn really big before i'm comfortable again.

i'll ask my doctor about it. I have always had low diastolic pressure though.
