I have been on 75 mg of Effexor XR for about 4 months now and it is working great. I am 100% satisfied. Last night I forgot to take it and left this morning for work without taking it (I only take it once a day, but I was going to take it 2 times today since I missed it last night). I am at work now and will not be home until after 6pm (it's 1:20 right now). I am feeling a little weird. This might sound weird, but when I move eyes and look around side to side, it makes me feel weird. I am guessing this is due to the fact that I missed my dose last night.
This is only the second time I have missed a dose. Last time I began to feel like this, but I had medicine with me so I was able to take it right away. I do not have medicine at work.
Is there anything I can do to keep myself calm until I get home? I really need some support.
Thanks for any help.

Practice any relaxation exercises you know. (Deep Breathing, etc.)
I would not take 2 doses today. That would be too much for your system. If you take your pill at night, I'd take it tonight, and then tomorrow night, etc.
You'll make it!! Good Luck!

If you are still concerned on what to do, give your pharmacist a call. They really know their stuff on what to do in cases like this. *hugs*

Thanks to everyone for responding. Once I tried to stop thinking about it and kept myself busy with work, I was feeling somewhat better. I took my medicine last night and didn't double up. I am fine today. Thanks for the support!!! :)
