hi everyone, just wanted to say that there is a book out called heal your headache it is by david buchholz. this book was suggested by the dr. i saw at hopkins. i read a bunch of it last night and it refers a lot to ear symptoms and dizziness. i dont have migraine head aches but you dont have to for this to be a problem. read up you may find some interesting things in there as far as all of this goes! libby

Very interested in your mav diagnosis lib - hadnt realised you could get such severe ear symptoms with migraine. I thought it was more dizziness. I have ordered the book you mention not cos I think I have mav but I have always had tension headaches so thought it would have some interesting info. Do keep us informed about your scan etc. I am still thinking your prob could be ETD or something similar. xxx

hi, i know, i am very worried that some of this is not right, i think i have p e t and not so much the other. i am getting the scan done soon and i pray something shows up, i am calling for the appt in the a.m. i am so worried this will never get resolved and i go down further everytime. i would think they would catch this in the scan or by my symptoms alone, what do you think? you will love the book! libby

Hi Lib...hmmm I am a little sceptical that you could get such chronic and severe ear symptoms through MAV. My ENT said it would be episodic. Like Wowwweee had, she said that when her attacks happened, her tinnitus, ear symptoms would show up. Not sure but I hope something shows in the scan. I think you need grommets/ear tubes. xxx

hi, i know, i hane been reading the book and i cant wait for you to get it, wait till you read how migraine can affect the e.tubes, there really is some interesting stuff in there, and as far as your tension headaches you will be amazed at what you read, i think this book might be an answer for you, when do you think you will get it? i cant wait to hear what you think. i also am afraid i have pet, that means i will have to go to boston if they dont figure it out here. i am trying some of the book, and trying to gain weight to see if it helps. libby
