Hello all. Im a 21yo male. Every now and then, i have this white slimmy things that come out of my mouth. especially after i use listerine mouth was. I looked at some pictures of thrush online, and mine does not look like that. it doesnt cover up the back of my mouth or in that case any part of my mouth. The stuff im talking about looks almost like a real slimmy piece of mucous..but not yellow...simply white..or cloudy white. i do smoke cigs. Any idea on what this could be?

No, it's not thrush....do you have sinus problems or post nasal drip? Could be what you're seeing, especially after the mouthwash has a chance to loosen everything up.

i do have post nasal drip and sinus problems. i really thought it was thrush, but after seeing the pics...i wasnt sure. i did not know post nasal drip could do that. thanks for advising me. i will still go to the doctor if it bothers me..i need to quit smoking. :-)
