I have been having a cronic knee problem for the last 3 months or so. I am an Ultimate Frisbee player and noticed it first a day or so after a tournament in March. It is a pain throughout the outside of my knee when I bend the joint. It also feels like there is a rubber band is attached to the joint that is being stretched tight. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

I forgot a couple things. It only hurts after I run or do somehting like that. And I have noticed that if I wear my knee brace it doesn't hurt afterwards. But, after wearing it every time I ran for 2 months I forgot today and it hurts again.

Hello,

You need to see an orthopod about your knee problem.
When you get a dx., then you know what you are dealing with. I have bilateral knee trouble called chrondomalacia of the kneecaps. The treatment is different than other knee probelms. I had to stop what I was doing and rest my knees.

I hope you are able to get help, but first you have to know what is the matter. There are so many different knee disorders and diseases.
Good luck!

Well, I found out what was wrong. I have a really tight I-T Band. So, I just have to wear a brace and go through physical therapy. No surgery. Hooray! Thanks for the help.
