I dieted for about 9 months and lost 40 pounds...but for the past three weeks I have been eating chocolate and messing up tremendously...I was just sick of being on a diet.
well.........last nite I sat up and watched TV and must have eaten 10 little chocolate bars u know the bite size ones...when I woke up in the morning I felt like crap and now its around noon and I feel awful....I can't concentrate on my work and i feel like my whole body hurts...
could it be the effects of the chocolate...?
someone give me some words to help me get back on my diet...everyday I say I will get back on it and I can't seem to do it.

I think the problem is your being too strict on your "diet". After 9 months you should be in a "lifestyle" change and not even want to eat candy/chocolate, or at least the amount you did. Also you said you were sick of being on a diet. You need to just eat in moderation, you know what is good for you and you know what is bad for you. There is also a semi-bad, ;) those you need to just treat yourself to maybe once or twice a week. (still in moderation)
You should not hate the way your having to eat, so that right there makes me think that you are cutting too much stuff out of your diet. When I am about/start to go overboard, i just cut myself off what im eating and eat somthing better for me that also gets rid of the craving im having. Its hard to get into that mindset, probably why I gave up so many times. Ive only been dieting for about 5 months and I don't even crave the bad stuff anymore. (candy, cookies, soda, fast food, etc) I know once you start to eat somthing sweet your want to eat more, just think about all that hard work you did and how that would have all been for nothing.
Those 10 candy bars are going to come back and haunt you in some form, but just let this be your lesson this time. (I had a lot of lessons in the beginning ;))
But yes I think the excess chocolate/sugar is going to make you not feel well today, that should pass by tomorrow. As for your asking how to go back on your diet, you need to browse these board a bit and see how everyone else eats and just "eat to live, not live to eat". I personally eat good during the week and on weekend have my treats, still in moderation. (it is the key)
Good Luck, try to get yourself a good plan and try to stick with it, it shouldn't be difficult. If it is, your doing it the wrong way.
Also drink WATER WATER WATER WATER, that will help you with not wanting to eat so much, and helps your body at the same time. WATER WATER WATER
