Can anyone give me any info on this cyst which has ruptured as they have done an ultrasound and now want to do an mri. I'm wondering if a mri will give them any more information and if it is really necessary b/c I have no insurance. Thanks http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Here is a site with some information on it:

ugh no insurance is indeed a scarey thought (been there) You might want to apply for medicaid (or whatever your area's public health assistance is) if not for this then for other health things as they come up. Good luck hope you get fixed soon http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm glad if the link helped. Have you been able to check out any public health assistance so you can get the mri - I had to go onto Arizona's version of medicaid before I could have the ones I needed and yes that was oneS - so far I have had one of my knee and one on my lower back. Sometimes you just injur a knee but sometimes (like in my case) that was just one link in a chain of stuff that was wrong. Good luck to you and I hope they can 'fix' you soon. *hugs*
