Hi everyone: I was wondering what kind of stretching exercises are good for regaining knee flexibility. I have stiffness in my right knee and I stretch my hamstrings and such, but no luck. I have Chondromalacia in that one and had arthroscopic surgery on it last year. Glucosamine/Chondroitin don't help at all. Thanks. Sue

Sue: Have you been using that "trigger point therapy" massage for your knee at all? I find that VERY hot soaks after doing the massage is very helpful too for keeping the blood flowing---I also exercise my legs underwater & immediately after when I get out while they're still nice & warm & especially flexible.

Hi Ladies,
I am having arthoscopic sx on the 28th of this month for my chrondomalacia. I hope that it works!! I am in so much pain. The orthopod said that there is only a 40% chance of this sx being able to help the chrondo or kneecap. I hope that they shave the patella so that it glides smoothly again and does not grind into my other bones. Did you get any relief from the SX? Let me know okay? I appreciate your help.
