I have a really odd problem. Lately, my periods have been running about 2-4 days late. When they do finally arrive... they start out really odd. First, it's that nasty brown discharge for about 2 days. Then BAM! I bleed extremely heavy for atleast 6 days or more. When i say heavy, i mean that i go through 1 super tampon within 2 hours flat. And i go through a pad within 3 hours flat. My periods have always been heavy, but this is ridiculous! I was previously on birthcontrol pills for this reason, but i can no longer take them because i had 2 blood clots after starting. Now for the really weird problem. For the last 3 months, i have had severe vaginal dryness and swelling "inside" of me. Even when i was aroused, i was still dry as a whistle! But now all of a sudden, i am like freakin Niagra Falls! I always feel like i "wet" myself. I have to wear a pad because it is so bad! I tried wearing a panty liner... but that wasn't enough. This is really gross and i am not sure what could be causing this. I do not think it is a yeast infection because i have had those and this is nothing like that. If anyone has any idea what could be wrong... please let me know! I really don't want to go to the gyno if it is not necessary. What sane girl would want to?!
