I was think of varying my work out every two week from low weight and high reps to high weight and low reps. Is this a good idea or do I need longer with each regiment to get better results?

There's nothing wrong with that plan, but what kind of results are you looking for?

well I looking for a nice balence of strength, not really size, and endurance. I want to try and lose some weight as well from 200 to 170 should be good enough
