hi everyone!

About eight years ago, I broke my femur when I was hit by a car. I had a rod and pins put in, and then removed. Then, about a year and a half ago, I broke a dislocated my hip just from twisting it suddenly. I am only 24, and am afraid of developing more serious hip problems. I haven't had any physical threapy for it, but am starting soon. I have been diagnosed with post-traumatic arthritis. My hip makes ALOT of popping sounds that can sometimes hurt. Does anyone know what this is? Any suggestions? THank you! Heal well. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hi mo,

I was told by several orthopods and an insurance company (workers comp) that this is very common to have arthritis set in after any injury to a joint.
I hope this helps you.
Katie

P.S. Remember that even children get arthritis! So, your age is not that important, hey I am not a dr., so I am just guessing Mo.
