Hi, is it common to have pain and aches in warm weather? l see a lot mentioned about the cold and rain etc, but l have it in summer too. I did have blood tests done a few years ago and had inflammation was given naproxen told to exercise more and go back if l felt heat or it got worse..........l suppose l just live with it but really need to go back to be retested he did say he couldnt rule our ra in future. l had an episode of pain and heat in my neck shoulders and back of head last month, my knees swell out of shape esp at night, l have feelings of really off days tiredness stiffness bottom of ribs (back) ache as does my spine sorry to rant l only mentioned weather http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif lol any input would be gratefully recieved. Thanx http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif ps pain in feet, ankles, hands, fingers ,toes and wrists, elbows oh and a patch of red dry scaly skin just at top of my ankle. (maybe l need put to sleep! lol)

i have had arthritis for 10 years now.yes summer affects arthitis any change in weather will cause u to start hurting. i have it in every joint of my body swelling,pain. somedays i have trouble moving i have a few days with mild pain but stiffness and pain and swelling anytime there is any change in the weather. even if it is miles from where u live . hope yous is better than what i go thur . mine gets worse with exercise. when it start up which is almost everyday i have to not use it till the swelling goes down . sorry so lone.

Sounds to me like you may have the beginnings of RA - suggest before you see a rheumatologist that you look at the Road Back Foundation and the Antibiotic Protocol.
