I finally got my prescription filled for the compression socks my doc wanted me to try. I can't figure out for the life of me what the heck I was waiting for. I am 4 months post op and still have moderate edema in my foot going up my leg. That achy feeling is completely gone in my foot and leg. It's a miracle. I feel like a new woman. If anyone is at this stage I HIGHLY recommend them. I can't wait to wear them to work tomorrow. I have just been walking around the house with them and LOVE EM!!!!

Oh! another thing, that golf ball feeling under your foot, completely gone. I love this!!!!!

You can get compression socks at any medical supply store (wheelchairs, portapotties, etc...) I got the MEDIVEN brand. The personnel measure your ankles and your calf to give you the right size. Since my doc wrote a prescription my insurance will cover them. They were 64.90 a pair, but there are other cheaper brands that do the same thing.
