7 months ago I noticed a freckle/spot on my back. It was kind of itchy and rubbing against my clothing, well I got so annoyed and made it bleed... it scabbed and I cut the scab off and put my finger nail down the middle of it.

I took it to the doctors told her what happened and she said it was a skin infection. Anyway, I researched on skin cancers and my spot/freckle looks like Basal Cell Carcinoma. It's slightly raised... pink... almost shiny. seems to be a slight dimple in it... but the actual spot is round and perfectly formed.

I'm going to go back soon and see what's going on with it because it's worrying me.,

If you think that it looks suspicious, by all means go to a dermatologist and have it checked out. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Do you have a question?

Do you have a question?

Yeah, do you think it's anything to worry about? It looks mainly like a skin tag.

If your doctor said it's nothing to worry about, then he is probably right. But if you can't sleep at night, then have a dermatologist examine it. That will put you at ease. Chances are, it's not skin cancer. But why take chances.

DON'T search the Internet looking for pictures of skin-cancer victims. You will scare yourself to death.

My wife went in for a biopsy on a couple of spots, and the one we really did think much about turn out to be sqaumous cell. I hooked into cansema on google and got Tropical Black Salve. We put it on, it ate up the cancer in about two weeks, then dropped off, and looks like a very fine surgeical cut.
The surgeon couldn't have done better. Cansema only attacks cancer. If it's not cancerous, it won't do anything. My wife said it hurt; but surgery hurts too. It wasn't very big, like a pencil, swoll up to the size of a dime, scabbed and fell off, clean, like a surgical hole. You might check into ********.com too for other advice or other methods--but there seems to be a lot of cures out there.

There's no doubt bloodroot salves work. I have heard way to many positive reports to believe otherwise. If I had a dubious spot on my body, I would use the salve. But that said, I would not feel comfortable using the salve on my face. Salves are unpredictable, and I have heard of some vicious scarring from them—scarring worse than surgery.

Motherchunk, I did the same thing, re searching the Net. I lost a ton of sleep and caused myself a lot of unnecessary worry from it. I will never search the Net for skin conditions again!

Well, I picked it off and it hasn't grown much, or not at at all since. If it was cancer, though, it doesn't mean to say the cancer has gone.
