I have had my hair highlighted for many years now and I decided I want to grow it out. I had my hair stylist color it darker this last time and it has been about a month and pretty much most of the darker color has washed out now. I used Nexus shampoo that is for color treated hair and is supposed to help maintain the color longer. She did use permanent hair color. Is there a way to keep the hair darker or am I stuck with growing it out which will take about two years or more for my length of hair.
