hey my name is amy and i have asthma and i also have allergies to animals and i have 10 animals at my house latly i have had a real hard time trying to breathe it is ok but not perfect when i stand up and walk around but when i am sitting or laying down it is hell to try to breathe. i also have a really bad dry cough for about a week or 2........ when i lay down people can hear me trying to breath cause i have to do it out load (like when u go to the doctors and he/she is checking your heart and he/ she asked u to breathe in and then out) that is how i have to breathe all the time..... i am goin to a allergest 2morrow to get tested for the shot but i am not sure if that is goin to do anything 4 me..........my doctor said that my asthma is not bad enough for a inhaler but i think sometime that it is a lot worse than people think it is....... help i need to know what to do i just feel like giving up..........my chest is starting to hurt 2

If you are having this much trouble then you should go and see a doctor. If you have asthma you should at least have a rescue inhaler, such as ventolin. Struggling to breathe when lying flat is typical of asthma. If you aren't getting help from your doctor go and see another one!
