 Do you the use the Neutrogena sunless tanning foam for face or can you use the regular one??? I am going to try the foam tomorrow and I am not sure if I should use the regular foam for the body on the face or buy the one specifically meant for the face. If not what do you do???Thanks!!!

I used this once (just the regular one, not face...and I didn't try it on my face), and I developed hives all over my arms and legs! So I would try it on your body before you slather it on your face, if you haven't tried it before! :) For your face, I think you can buy bronzers that come like loose powder. I go to a tanner, so I've never tried anything on my face.

You are refering to the new foam that just came out on the market, right? Not the old lotion. Well, I have not used it yet but from my experience with other tanners I think the foam will probably work well on the face since foam/mousse and spray tanners are not as greasy as lotions because they contain a higher volume of alcohol. This also makes them excellent for oily/acne prone skin. But everyones skin is different and it's possible that you could have an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients in the product (or any product, for that matter). Try it on your body first and if you don't have a reaction then try it on your face.

I was just wondering if this came in different shades for different skin tones. I have light skin, and I want a tan that looks natural (not too dark).

I'm sure it comes in more than one level, probably a dark, and a medium/light.

I broke out on my chest from the foam. Definitely test it out first.

I have a couple more quick questions about this product... Is it drying? My skin is pretty dry and it sounds like a lotion may work better for me, though the foam sounds like it would blend easier. How do you apply it w/o getting it on your palms? Does it fade away naturally or does it get streaky when it wears off? Thanks!

I have used this product for a while now. Its a good one, I am fair skinned and dry as well. But, there are a few things you should do. One is moisturize the heck out of your skin- baby oil works best. Make sure you exfoliate in the shower as well. After your shower- apply a small amount of baby oil to your skin, then apply the foam- this helps it to not streak. The only drawback is that it will streak if you get wet, because the instant bronzer in it is a temporary color until the self tanner develops. I don't reccomend using it if you are going to be swimming or out in the rain. Other than that- it doesn't dry your skin and gives a nice natural color- I am fair, but buy the dark style, it gives the nicest color. It will not color the palms of your hands as long as you wash them right away.

This is the only sunless tanner I use, it is the best! I use it for my whole body and sometimes I use it on my face and it works great.

I just started using this and I love it. I bought the 3 piece kit which includes an exfoliant to use before you apply, a face lotion and the foam for the body. I have had no problems and love the results. I would use the facial lotion for the face and not the foam. The whole kit was only $15.
