angie75 and pookah-I was really upset to hear that your doctors aren't treating your pain-which for the most case is 90% of fibro-I searched on a popular search engine for pain management and epilepsy and I found something absolutely safe as an anti-epileptic and a pain killer!! it's neurontin-I have read alot of people taking this for nerve pain have success-talk to your doctors about this!! alot of people have been prescribed this for fibro pain..I really hope this helps please let me know :bouncing:

That is a good choice for chronic pain, but I am already on 2 drugs to control epilepsy, and I cannot add a 3rd. I was on neurontin for epilepsy, but it didn't control my seizures, so I had to go off it to go on the topamax/trileptal combo. The problem is you can't be on all 3, so since neurontin doesn't work for my seizures, it's out for pain too. Thanks for the idea though,
