Desiccation is present at L5-S1 w/oit significant disc space height loss. Less extensive desiccation is present at L4-5.
other lumbar disc appear normal. Sagittal image NP may be present at L5-S1.
Angles axial images from 3-S1 demonstrate no abnormality at L3-4.
at L4-5 , there is a small central subligamentous HNP present.
It dose not cause significant spinal canal stenosis. However the spinal canla is slightly narrowed due to developmental shortening pf pedicles at this level. No lateralizing components are present.
at L5-S1 . there is a larger broad based HNP present which extends inot the exit foramina & dose cause significant spinal canal stenosis .
Conus signal & countour appear normal , as dose the termination piont. Vertebral body marrow signal & lamina are normal.
Limited view of the retroperitoneum is unremarkable.
IMPRESSION: [1] HNP's at L4-5 & L5-S1 as described above. the one present at L5-S1 dose cause spinal canal stenosis.
