Maybe this drug can help you. I'm 21 years old and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis two days before Christmas in 1997. It was so bad that I had to go through physical therapy. I was put on several different medications. Steroids first and NSAIDs (Non Steroidal Anti-Inflamitory Drugs) later. Finally, a book was discovered that explained the link of viral infections and RA. I convinced my doctor to put me on Minocin. I took it for 3 weeks straight twice a day to get it into my blood stream and then 2 times a day every other day afterwards. At first my pain got worse, I guess that is what is supposed to happen accoding to the book. That lasts for a couple of weeks and then the inflamation begins to go down and pain lessens as the weeks progress. My fevers went away and then so did the redness around my joints. I've been in remission now for 1 year! I hope that this can help others as it has helped me.

Yes, I've read the book it's called the New Arthritis Breakthrough by Henry Scammell and it is wonderful, and makes so much sense. After reading it I too convinced my Dr. to take me off all the meds that were not working for me for over 3 years and to try me on the antibiotic program. It took some convincing but I'm now on Minocin and the anti-fungal Nystatin and guess what? I too have been feeling much better since. I found all this info by accident at a website called the Roadback Foundation. There are hundreds of people who have been helped thur taking this course of drugs. Most of them have written to this website and it makes for some interesting and helpful reading. Let me know if anyone else has ever gone to this website and begun this therapy please.

Did any of you who were successful with antibiotics have Raynaud's Phenomenon as a symptom of your disease?
Tell me also if you did not. That's important too.
