Well, more changes. I was having a horrible time with the dilantin and the topamax together. My memory was so bad I couldn't remember to take my medicine until I had a horrible headache. Of coarse it only took a few hours, those medicines must be pretty addictive to the brain. Anyway, I'm totally on topamax again up to 200 mg / day and off the dilantin and going to the seizure specialist on Monday at John Hopkins. The Topamax wasn't helping the seizures alone, and it was giving me irregular heartbeats. It's seeming to do that again...ugh! My memory hasn't come back yet and it's been almost a week. I hope the specialist has answers. Hopefully he can deal with the hormones. Any suggestions for a med that has low side affects for partial complex seizures. (Esp no weight gain.) :confused:
