Last night for supper I had some Bush's Baked Beans. Not a ton but a normal amount I guess. Since then I have had pressure, bloating, like a big bubble sitting right under my rib cage, chest area. No real pain but it is VERYuncomforable. Does anyone know how long it takes for food to be digested? I will never eat baked beans again! Thanks! This happened even with taking gas-x !

If the symptoms are all stemming from eating the beans, I would give at least 24 hours for the beans to pass completely through. Probably will take less time depending on the person. If I eat a lot of beans at night, the gas doesn't usually hit me till the following day.

Hey try some beano. But if you are allergic to mold then do not try beano. Also I read in many scientific sources that gas x does not work at all. Also was suggested was peppermint oil and pepermint tea. But I usually drink warm-hot water to help out with the bad feeling that you described. Good luck.
