I am on the hunt for a good topical cream that will give my complexion a boost/glow, maybe reduce fine lines/pores. Just looking for a little pick me up for my complexion as far as a healthy glow. Any recommendations would be so appreciated! :)

Try salt....really. I read that in one of my magazines and thought, Well, how simple is that. So I first only used it in the shower as an exfoliator and my skin felt like velvet. Well, one day while showering I decided to try some on my face too. Oh my, talk about a healthy glow, even my husband noticed. My skin was not only the softest I've ever felt it, but it was actually glowing. I've been using it on a regular basis now and couldn't be more pleased. As for the fine lines, Silkia Camillia Oil. Nothing out there can touch it, and all you have to do is read about it on here to know it truly works.

I too suggest a good exfoliant/scrub. Apricot Scrub or just plain old sugar are my two favorites. 100% jojoba oil is what else i suggest.

A brown sugar scrub (which actually contains AHA's) is better for your skin than salt. Salt crystals can be quite harsh and cause microscopic tears on the skin surface but sugar will not do that because it will disolve in water before it can do any damage. It will also make your skin very soft and glowy. Actually, any exfoliating product (AHA's, BHA's Retinol, Glycolic Acid) will make your skin more "glowing" by removing the superficial layer of built up dead skin cells which clog the pores and make skin look dull. One word of caution: do not overdo the exfoliation because it will lead to raw-looking, blotchy skin. Too much of a good is, well, too much.
