View Full Version : Experiences with SED??

Hi Group--I wonder if anyone here has had any experiences with the "SED" procedure (selective endoscopic discectomy) as developed and performed by Dr. Yeung? As I understand it, the claim is that this is different than other endoscopic approaches. In any event, I wonder if anyone has looked into it or actually had the procedure.

Best to all,

Standingman

Standingman,

I am wondering this too! I have yet to see a procedure which claims to HEAL an annular tear. Dr Yeung claims they do it thru thermal annuloplasty which is less invasive and post-operatively painful than IDET. I hope someone else posts about this too!
