Friends--I hope the fact that even mentioning the reality of other boards (with no addresses given) and the fact that I am here to praise this one does not get me into hot water!

Indeed, I want to say how much I appreciate what goes on here. There are many places in which it is possible to get medical info relevant to our various conditions, and, of course, we should work to find whatever info may be useful. But in terms of relaxed, genuine sharing of experiences--real support and, every now and then, real wisdom about how to deal/cope/make decisions--I haven't found anything that comes close to this board. It has meant a lot to me, and I thank the many of you whom I've "met" here.

I stand along with standingman. These boards are a source of inspiration to many. We thank all those in the "background" that keep these boards up and running, there are a lot of people giving their time to make sure these boards are here for a lot of people. I also want to thank all those members that continue to share their advice and their hearts. Brave hearts one and all.

As a relative "newbie" to the boards, I have to concur. This has been a very supportive, informative place to come! I appreciate all of you!
