View Full Version : Sleeping facing down...

Does it count as "elevating" my foot if I sleep facing down, but with my knee bent up and my foot resting on a couple of pillows? I'm just tired of sleeping facing up all the time.

Thanks!

It sounds like a contortionist's nightmare, but seems like your foot would definitely be above your heart. How can you even stand to put the top of your foot & toe on anything, even a pillow? I know the day I could finally turn to my side was a real treat (at about 4 weeks).

I'm sure it would count! :) I slept on my side and just had my feet hanging over the bed a little so no pressure was put on my feet. It worked, thankfully b/c I don't like falling asleep on my back.

I can touch the top of my foot and it doesn't hurt actually, so hopefully it won't hurt if I let pillows touch it for a night. I may try something like HappyMama--letting my feet hang free. Thanks for your input!
