Hi everyone,

In May 2002, I started developing symptoms for OCD. In August 2002, I was told I have OCD and I was given medicine. My main problem was a fear of germs. Then school started in Sept. 2002. Things got incredibly bad that I wasn’t going to school. So, my mom decided to take me to another psyciatrist that specializes in OCD. In 3 weeks, I was doing great. I couldn’t believe it. I was so happy.

Now that is the background information.

Since September 2003, I have had this really bad obsession. I have this obsession that I have crap in my pants. I would use the bathroom, and depending on how messy it was or how smelly it was, I would feel like I have crap on me. Also, if I fart, I feel like I crapped myself. This has been going on for months and now it is really bad.

Can anyone give me any tips or help?

I don't have the exact problem you do, but when I poop, I have always wiped until I was positive I was clean. This would make my anus raw and lightly bloody. The cracks would then reopen the next time I pooped and it would hurt to go and wipe. I would hold it in for as long as I could. Basically I MADE myself constipated and would go maybe twice a week. This would make the poop bigger and more painful! I go more often now, but I still wipe really hard for a long time.

Unscented baby wipes help clean you without causing a lot of pain (and without clogging up the toilet!) You can even get adult hygiene wipes - same as baby wipes, but geared toward adults so they don't feel stupid buying baby wipes. Can't help you in any other way, though. Sorry.
