I would just like to tell you all how Concerta has worked for me. I am 27 years old. I was diagnosed with ADD 2 years ago. I was very impatient, unfocused, and easily distracted. I went to the DR's to see if there was something wrong. After a few thourough evaluations, I was diagnosed.
The Dr first put me on Ritalin 4x a day. (I thought this is a KIDS disease, ADD at 24 years old)... After a few months on the ritalin, nothing was changing. Then he switched me to Concerta. At first I had a few side effects, nausea, headaches, and sinus infections. After 2 weeks I immediatly saw a difference. After 3 months on the drug my friends started commenting on how much calmer I was, how much more focused I was in conversations, and in everyday life.
Concerta really helped me in my life and I do recommend it for anyone who has been diagnosed with ADD. Thank God I found this pill.

Concerta has made a similiar difference in my life as well. Unfortunately, I've completely lost my ability to sleep (insomnia was a pre-Concerta problem anyway) so I'm having to stop it. Darnit!

Ditto to the help side of things! Concerta has made a HUGE change for me! One thought for you, index... I started taking Tenex at night for problems with tics and I sleep wonderfully well! I don't know if that's an option or not, but it works great for me! When I first started the Concerta I was staying up until 3 or 4 a.m. and couldn't sleep, but now am finally starting to get balanced out!

What are the does you guys are on for concerta? I was on ritalin but had to stop due to chest pains so they switched me to 36mg 1x a day

What are the does you guys are on for concerta?

I take 18mg - 36mg once per day, depending on what is going on that day.

My 11-year old son is on Concerta and it helps him for part of the day. He definitely has trouble sleeping though and is exhausted in the morning. Anything natural anyone can recommend to help him sleep at night?
