I was doing good for 6 months, I have at least lost 85lbs, but got nailed hard by GERD this week. I doing everything I can not have call 911, Im so sick of that cycle and never really getting help there unless your about to deliver or in accident. Those that did lose how much did it help and how close to you have to get to your "body weight" make enough difference? I Know I have another 85 lose but I thought that large amount would help somewhat by now lessen pain of hernia thing in esphogaus, GERD, IBS, gastristis stuff. I could not be following better diet of exercise, eating 6 small meals a day that are 97 percent fat free, along with great weight loss which is no easily feet with MS. That is why I was so shocked this week to wake up one morning with extreme cramping in stomach, vomiting and then finally old faithful extreme pain under left pec so bad makes my eyes water. Now I about to go into starvation mode again which I dont want to do. I can only hope this will pass fast. I am tired, completly exhausted, if I try sleep it gets worse, so I have attempt rest at full 90 degree angle, smack upright to wall about.
Given that GI specialist dismissed year ago, saying nothing he could do that I have incurable GERD and handed me a simplest booklet on things help it I on my own and will do anything not have go ER as much I did last year, huge waste of time, though zantac drip did help after few hours when they did it.

So quick recap:
Weight loss greatly helped anyone out there? Cuz I going to go nuts if I finally hit 130 and it just as bad, ER staff and doc will be out of excuse to blame me for this then.
Is there something now out there newer and better then Nexium?
I mean, my god I've been doing two a day of those for year and half and has not stopped these attacks.

Since at least 4 times ER doc has put me on zantac drip knowing full well I taken 2 nexium, does that mean when I have extremly bad days I can add zantac tablet you get in stores? Cuz I mean really I save 5 pages of rambling but I have many great reasons to try everything avoid the ER, which is hard to do with mailman, neighbor, etc see you passed out, not checking mail, vomiting, or general looking like death P
