i was taking 10,000 IU vitamin A daily.. and just recently i got sick, but i think it was just the stomach flu that was going on. My mom argues that it is the vitmain A that im taking.. cuz i vomitted some blood..

Too much of anything is bad. Too much water is toxic. So to answer your question, yes too much Vitamin A is bad for you. I can not tell you with certainty that your becoming sick was because of taking too much vitamin A. Is there any specific reason you eat so much Vitamin A? Vitamin A is one of those vitamins that are stored in the body and used as needed as opposed to vitamin c for example that gets excreted in the urine. So if you take 4 times the amount of vitamin a in one day, youll be good for this vitamin for 4 days.

Vitamin A can be toxic if it is a synthetic. To be on the safe side take Vit A that is derived from beta carotene. :angel:
