Hi List
Well Here it is going on the three weeks after surgery and things are doing Just ok,
I went into my Dr. just recently last week, and we are going to be going in for an MRI of the foot for this issue of the missing tendon and it looks like down the road we will have to go in and do some repair work.
The joint is placed good, but the toe is not bending as we had hoped, but then again its only been three weeks and no miricle is expected so we will see what happens as a little more time goes down the road on this.
Yes I am shocked that there is no tendon and where did it go Question.
To those of you that posted thankyou, and to answer some of the questions, Yes I had a Podiatrist do all of my surgeries but I am going be going into an orthapedic surgeon and have made an appointment to do some follow up with me and to see what happens next.
When I did all this I though It was going to be over, but Guess what, Its not and far from it, now that we know that the tendon needs repairing and its going to get alot more complicated down the road.
My other implant on the left foot is doing pretty good, little tweaks of pain now and then but then again its only been since Nov of last year I had that one done and its still healing up but its been interesting to have to put all that weight on the left one but at the same time has been good for strengthening it.
Anyway wanted to let all of you know how I was doing, and whats going to have to take place next.
It looks like the pins that were seated in my toes from before seated so much, when they dug out, one must of pushed the tendon out or something and well that to me seems like a mal practice, but I am not going to go there, and also it would be hard to really prove after two years, it just could of been the way things went and so here we go again with further investigation on the placement of that tendon.
Anyway Will keep you posted as time goes.
Karrie
