Hi. I had posted a question: Bed time, hard time breathing, & got many great responses..on that same post, I also had stated that I have seen a Dr. & was prescribed Azmacort-taken on a daily basis. What I am wondering now is, for those of you who are familiar with it, does it bother you at all having to inhale these puffs 3X or so daily then making sure you rinse your mouth after--as you can get thrush?? I honestly, find it annoying--ha......I am suppose to inhale 3X daily, 2 puffs each time, making sure I hold my breath for a count of 5 or so then waiting a minute before the next puff. I am finding I seem to do this twice a day, then sometimes forget to rinse my mouth. It just doesn't seem practical, but I like things very simple & easy. The Dr. had said, if this did NOT work, she would put me on one of the new pills.....however, this DOES seem to be working...I would much rather take a pill every day, once, than this.... Thanks for your input once again..Take care.

Any inhaler that is in the steroid family requires you to rinse your mouth. Persinally, I'd rather rinse my mouth & breathe. It's a mild inconvenience for breath.

Hi...to bj2bandit.....I agree with you that rinsing your mouth is a small inconvenience compared to breath, but what I'm saying is, if there is something simpilar and easier--then why not do it...if I can take a pill instead, then I would just as soon do that.
