8 yrs ago I was diagnosed with adult onset asthma. I was doing ok until I caught a cold 6 weeks ago. I have a lot of sinus congestion and post nasal drip. Sometimes when I am trying to clear my throat, I start to choke and can't get air in or out. The inhaler helps, but I am terrified when this happens. Doctor has given me Albuteral inhaler and claritin and Robitussin DM. Also my throat seems really dry at times.
Does anyone have asthama that seems to start in the throat?

my doctor gave me singular it has helped witht he clearing of my airway. what it does is produce more of a certain chemical which makes it easier for the phlem to get out. it has helped alot. he also gave me nasonex he said sinus problems will make asthma worse. the nasonex has no side effects and really helps.
