Hi, my dad takes asthma treatment using I believe 3 different inhalers - his voice sounds terrible, extremely hoarse which he believes is a side effect of the inhalers. Any suggestions?

its a side effect of whatever type of steroid inhaler he is using. tell him to gargle out his mouth good after he uses it. its probably flovent or pulmicort

It happens to me sometimes. I drink water each time I take a puff of Flovent or Serevent. Has he had a dose change in the last year or two; sometimes a little bit less strength may help [if it is okay with doctor]
