Asthma runs in my family. My daughter has it pretty bad whenever she gets a cold and was once hospitalized for days. My dad always had a chronic cough.

What I do is swallow the wrong way, usually for no reason (not eating or drinking) and my lungs will sometimes get congested for sometimes 10 - 20 min. I don't wheeze like my daughter will, but wonder if this is some form of asthma. Cold ice cream will also do this to me.
