This summer I have found something that has helped me feel better> It hasn't cured my asthma, nor has it increased by lung capacity. I recently lost 23 pounds and I feel better. I have cut down the use of my rescue inhaler dramatically. I use to use it daily now I use it once a week or so.I always thought it made no difference, but I guess if you'r overweight like I am losing weight makes your diaphram go down so your lungs have more room to expand. it hasn't cured my problem but I breath much easier.I still get a lot of phlem exc, can't breath in humidity, but generally breath better. So far no trips to the er(cross my fingers)

I;m very happy for you. Getting control of your asthma
by losing weight is wonderful. I am fighting just to keep from gaining. However I got control of my asthma by cleaning up the mold in the basement.
Sincerly,

i have heard that too. people don't pay much attention to their basements, but for people with asthma mold in the basements can really worsen your condition. I know mold is one of my allergies, so i sleep with my bathroom door closed incase there is mold i haven't noticed (being lazy about cleaning)
