First of all, does anyone use the Ponds Cold Cream? Do you have any problems with it, does it cleanse good? And how long have you been using it? It has mineral oil in it and everyone says that's really bad, but no one ever seems to have any proof of it being bad, so I don't know what to believe about that. Does anyone else use any other Ponds cleansers? Do you recommend any? Thanks :)

I have the Ponds cold cream and LOVE it, but I don't usually wash my entire face with it unless I'm wearing a lot of makeup. I use it every night with a cotton pad to take my eye makeup off and it's by far the best product I've ever used for that - it doesn't sting my eyes at all, it's SO gentle and all of my makeup comes off better than any real makeup remover I've ever purchased! So for that purpose alone, I love it. When I'm wearing foundation I will use a little on the rest of my face too and then wipe it off with a cotton pad to take the makeup off, then I wash my face regularly with stuff that's better for my acne-prone skin.

So I'm not sure about using it as your only face wash, but I like it a lot around my eye area!

I love POND's Cold Cream and all their products. Price is excellant.
I have been using it for years. (I'm 42) I tend to switch products but always go back to POND's and keep it on hand at all times.

My neice 14 yrs old who is a cheerleading, travels alot for competitions and has to wear heavy makeup for their performance is now using Ponds and she loves it too. The wipes are great when you go camping. That's when I got her hooked.

FYI - 2yrs ago I went away to a spa and speaking with the lady who was giving me a facial I mentioned how I use and love Ponds...WELL, come to find out she knows the CHEMIST who not only works at PONDS but she mentioned he is the same chemist for Estee Lauder or Lancome. I nearly fell off the table because it proved my theory all along just because something is
expensive doesn't mean it's always the best..
It's just a matter of perference, skin types, skin tones, age, and of course MONEY.

I absolutley love PONDS products. I cleanse and moisturize my face both morning and night and thus far have had no problems. A 67 year old friend of mine has used this product of many, many years and she looks every bit of a 45 year old. Hard to believe, but she does and gives the credit all to PONDS. The wipes are great too.

Hey, thanks everyone. I was also wondering how exactly do you use the cold cream, do you just use a tissue or a soft wash cloth to take it off? Do you ever use water with it? I think I read somewhere that it requires no water. Also, after you've cleaned your face in the morning, and say you wanna put your makeup on, does it apply easily to your face after you've washed with it (for example, does it make the makeup slide off or anything like that)? Also, do you still use a separate moisturizer afterwards? Thanks again. :)

Hi: I rub a small amount of cold cream in my hands and rub it all over my face, including my eyes/eyelashes. Then, I use a wash cloth that has been rinsed in very warm water and take the cleanser off. Afterwards, I immediately apply the Ponds moisturizer. You can take a dry cloth if you'd like to remove some of the excess moisterizer before applying your makeup. I find that is successful for me. So far, so good....... no makeup has slid off.

Good luck to you!

Hi
I apply the cold cream all over my face, for me since I wear alot of make-up
I appy a generous amount sometimes I tissue it off then rinse with warm water. Other times I just wash off with warm water & a wash cloth. My sink
gets cakey afterwards.
After I pat dry my face: I apply the Ponds Dramatic Results skin brightening age defying moisturizer. I also use the Ponds Revitaizing Eye Gel which I like alot...Then my make up. For traveling or camping I love their Wipes good
thing to have on hand.

Because I suffer with very dry skin, I use Pond's Dry Skin Cream. And you are welcome.

I just have a small question about Ponds products...I replied earlier in this thread about how I use the cold cream to take my eye makeup off, but after reading this thread I also purchased the wipes to use at the gym or before I go tanning (anytime I need my makeup off and don't have my full array of products with me!)...

My question is, do any of you Ponds users have acne-prone skin? I have mild to moderate acne-prone skin and the reason I didn't use Ponds all over before was because their cold cream does not say anything about it being non-comedogenic. I'm very weary of the wipes for this reason too, even though the two times I've used them so far they've been AMAZING at taking my makeup off. I really don't want to break out!! For the first time in the past year my skin is actually mildly cooperating, I don't want to mess it up! Please reply!

How about for us ladies with severly dry and sensitive skin?
Right now i'm using vaseline for my face but it gets very hot and humid in the summertime here so definitely need something lighter.

I have Acne prone skin and Ponds doesn't break me out I also use the
anti aging cream and have seen "some" results.

I stated earlier on this thread I love my Pond's and always have it on hand
cold cream & wipes. The wipes are great for traveling, camping, and when I don't feel like using the cold cream because of the mess to my bathroom sink and wash clothes..

I also want to mention something else, I tend to switch my cleasning routine with other products on the market and I have started using
Orgins: Never a Dull Moment/Skin Brightener Face Cleanser every morning and evening and every other day after cleasing my skin I also have been using the Never A Dull Moment Face polisher. WOW! That is all I can say.
I have sensitive skin, I'm 42, minor acne breakouts (had them when I was young) tzone, Olive skin dull skin. With winter almost over my skin needed a lift, color, and a glow. I could not believe the results of the products after just one week. I am still using my PONDS moisturzer and it's working great together. What I also liked about Orgins products was there money back policy and I didn't find the product expensive...

Can u tell me about this "never a dull moment" stuff? I like to switch on/off with different products and I've never heard this one. I used Ponds when I was a little girl and it made me feel oily...it sounds like it's changed since 20 yrs. ago...maybe I should give it a shot...

Sure...The Product line is "Origins" and you can buy it at the Mall.
I live in NH and purchased it Filene's they have their own counter. They also have a web site. It is no more expensive then products you buy at Walmart or Drug stores and yet cheaper then the High end brand of beauty products.

I don't want to upset anyone about this thread on Pond's and get off the subject of Ponds. I still LOVE MY POND's and continue to use their products.
I just like a change from time to time...I was passing by the Origins counter and noticed the Origins, Never a DUll Moment skin-brightening face polisher with fruit enzymes and decided to give it a try and also purchased the face cleanser..I am very impressed with the product. I'm still using my Pond's
moist. and then appy my makeup and I have noticed I have a glow and don't need to touch my makeup for hours... :)
