Hello everyone.

My question is this. I have been getting chest pain. More like pressure on my chest. I havent had any symptom that would indicate a heart attack. I check my pulse when ever I get this pain, I have a steady beat. It is located 5 finger starting from the bottom of my sternum up, 1 to the left. It is an area the size of a golf ball. it comes and go. I was just wondering f anyone else experience something similar. I had a ekg done last year around Oct. everything was fine, a little slow according to my doctor but ok.

I have been having the same thing for almost 2 years with no diagnosis. Had the EKG and stress test with no negative findings.

I don't want to write off the possibilities of serious health problems (due to chest pains, because I have them too) but maybe there *is* no cause, other than anxiety or stress or maybe our own minds. Lots of things can be brought on by worry and the more you worry about it, the worse it gets.

Like I said, anyone who has chest pains should have it checked by a doctor (even though I haven't yet because my pains have been more dull and annoying than frightening) but I've heard of lots of ppl who have symptoms like this and never really find out what's causing it, even after many visits to a physician.
