Hey its me again. Like I said in my last post I decided to get tested, because I remembered that I have had other risks from 1-2 years ago. I got around alot I guess you could say....I'm still going to test in 3 months from that last incident.

Well, I tested negative using that Orasure test. But I'm worried it was wrong, because of the yeast infection I have. It won't go away. I've tried everything. I don't know why I would have it....I haven't taken any antibiotics in the past year, I don't wear tight clothes, I've never been pregnant, and I don't have diabetes.

I'm really worried. Please help =( and if you have any advice on how to get rid of this damned yeast infection, I would greatly appericate it.

hun, you gotta relax. why do you think monistat is a billion dollar compny? because millions of women get yeast infections, sometimes over and over again. it may not be a yeast infection. it could be bacterial vagnosis (BV) or anothr simple STD. if you can't cure a yeast infection, then go to the doctor and get diflucan. i get yeast infections about 4x a year. i diagnosed myself too much when i was younger as in would shove monistat up there the moment i felt something. i think i did more harm than good. i found that cortizone 10 works better for the external itch but it sounds as though you need diflucan. do a search on candida and find out more about what you are up against. stay away from yeast type food---beer, pizza, bread stuff and load up on the probiotics. you really are ok.

Hi there i had read about those self test kits in another thread,,, i was just wondering can u get those tests in australia at all....and not have to order from overseas... just thought u may know.. i have a sexual partner now of two years and just thought it would be a good idea for both of us to get tested as we both have had sexual partners before ...thanks for your time..

i think if you do a search on home access HIV tests you should be able to come up with something. i don't know but i would imagine you can get them there. good luck, you are dong the right thing. i would just go to a clinic because then you know the test was done right and you won't wonder. just an idea.
