Sponsor Cindy Stoller 02-28-2004, 02:48 AM Yes, Tammy, and chest pain too. Makes it rather difficult to know whether you should worry about cardiac problems, or attribute it to the GERD. One quick way you should be able to tell is: drink a large glass of water. If the pain/burning decreases or resolves, it was GERD. If it doesnt, seek medical attention immediately.
