I have been diagnosed with MAC(mycobacterium avium complex) and Bronchiectasis. I am on medication for MAC. Does anyone have Bronchiectasis and is there a treatment for it? I understand that I might have acquired MAC because of the Bronchiectasis. I don't know how long I have had either one. My pulmonary doctor who diagnosed both of the diseases turned me over to an infectious disease doctor to treat me for MAC. I can tell my bronchiectasis is progressing because when I lie down at night I am coughing up the infection more all the time. I am going to make another appointment with the pulmonary doctor but was wondering if any of the members on this site have ever been diagnosed with bronchiectasis.
