Hello and thank you for reading my inquiry. I went to the doctors office today for a Sinus Infection. My Doctor did a Fev1 test and the results returned 62% She has prescribed me Albuterol for now and Flovent if the Albuterol doesn help. I thought my chest pain was from conjestion moving from my sinuses down to my lungs. I guess I was wrong. She was rather alarmed at the Fev1 results. She did not come out and say I have asthma but she hinted at it. I will be retesting after my sinus infection clears up.
I have done a little research today and some of the symptoms do seem familiar like shortness and painful breathing after working in cold and Exercising.
To get to the Point I guess I would like some more opinions about the Fev1 test results. Is 62% very low for a 27 year old woman, non smoker with no allergies?
Thank you in advance for your attention and opinion
