I've been a career for my partner for 3 1/2 yrs. It is not an easy illness to have because no one can see the problem as in a broken leg. The main things you must do are :-
1) Be very careful about drugs don't copy others find out what is best for you.
2) Accept the illness and slow down, easier said than done I know.
3) Pace yourself.
Pacing is where you regulate your activities between mental and physical. You must try to have regualr rests where you do nothing. Remember even listening too a radio/watching tv uses energy.
My partner did try sleeping tablets prescribed by her consultant wrecked her xmas as she was even worse. So plese be careful how you try to regulate your sleeping to induce deep sleep, stage 4.
I hope this helps
Take it easy and remember your not alone :jester:
